The Clearvale It button disappeared from the Outlook toolbar by Lisa Braz, Sep 22, 2011 Edited Sep 22, 2011 |
Here are some possible reasons why the Clearvale It button does not appear:
- Conflict with another Outlook add-in.
- The Outlook process hung while executing some add-in code.
- Unhandled exceptions in the add-in code.
Solution
Try to re-enable the Outlook add-in from the disabled items.
Outlook 2003
1. In Outlook, go to the Help>About Microsoft Office Outlook menu item. 2. Click on the Disabled Items... button. 3. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item (if present) and click the Enable button. 4. Restart Outlook.
Outlook 2007
1. In Outlook, go to the Help>Disabled Items... menu item. 2. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item (if present) and click the Enable button. 3. Restart Outlook.
Outlook 2010 1. In Outlook, go to the File>Options menu item. 2. Select Add-Ins in the left navigation. 3. In the Manage drop-down, select Disabled Items and click the Go... button. 4. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item (if present) and click the Enable button. 5. Restart Outlook.
If the add-in is disabled again after restarting Outlook or did not appear in the disabled items list, check the load behavior as follows:
Outlook 2003
1. In Outlook, go to the Tools>Options menu item. 2. Select the Other tab. 3. Click the Advanced Options... button. 4. Click the COM Add-Ins... button. 5. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item. 6. The Load Behavior should be Load at Startup.
Outlook 2007
1. In Outlook, go to the Tools>Trust Center menu item. 2. Select Add-ins in the left navigation. 3. In the Manage drop-down, select COM Add-ins and click the Go... button. 4. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item. 5. The Load Behavior should be Load at Startup.
Outlook 2010
1. In Outlook, go to the File>Options menu item. 2. Select Add-Ins in the left navigation. 3. In the Manage drop-down, select COM Add-ins and click the Go... button. 4. Select the BroadVision Clearvale It Add-in item. 5. The Load Behavior should be Load at Startup.
